WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

- Water filtration and purification methods

- Building emergency shelters (debris shelters, lean-tos, tarps)

- Fire safety and basic fire-building techniques

- Knot tying for survival situations

- Identifying edible plants and basic foraging

- First aid and emergency response basics

- Survival priorities and decision-making

WHAT TO BRING

- Long pants & long sleeves (protect skin!)

- Closed-toe hiking boots

- Personal backpack with water (2-3 liters)

- Personal first aid kit

- Work gloves (optional)

- Hat or sun protection

- Insect repellent (optional)

WHAT WE PROVIDE

- Water filtration supplies and demo materials

- Shelter-building materials (tarps, branches, natural materials)

- Fire-building supplies and safety equipment

- Rope and paracord for knot-tying practice

- First aid kit on hand

- Expert instruction and real terrain practice

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Active outdoor class involving 1-2 miles over uneven terrain, hands-on shelter building, and physical work. You should be comfortable with physical exertion and getting dirty.

SAFETY FIRST

First aid kit on hand, group stays together, fire safety protocols strictly enforced, waivers required.
