Kids were made to get their hands in the dirt! In a world full of screens, our Children’s Gardening and Homesteading Basics class is designed to help little ones reconnect with nature, understand where their food comes from, and learn the magic of growing things themselves.
In this fun, sensory-rich, and hands-on workshop, your child will step into the shoes of a "little homesteader." We will explore the basics of gardening, plant life, and earth skills in a way that is highly engaging and easy for kids to understand.
What your little homesteader will learn & do:
🌻 Seed to Sprout: We will learn how seeds grow and every child will plant their very own seed or herb to take home and care for!
🪱 The Magic of Soil: A fun look at why healthy dirt matters (and yes, we might talk about worms!).
🌿 Plant ID for Kids: How to recognize simple, safe, and helpful plants in our own backyards.
👩🌾 Homesteading Chores: Learning the value of responsibility, caring for nature, and the basics of self-reliance.
